THE REGISTRATION DAY
ASSALAMUALAIKUM
Last week, is the first week of the second semester. I felt so homesick like I never have before. Seriously, even when the first day i got here last semester, I'm still doing fine. I am not like some of my friends. They missed their parent and homes.. but me, I tapped my shoulder for doing so good on my first time living alone. So, what am I gonna write today? well, I'm not sure of that myself.
Since I'm talking aboout my first day. Let's go through all of it okay. My registration day(dont remember the date) was on Ramadhan. I remember that day was scorching hot as I arrived in the afternoon. When I first arrived at this college, I have mixed feelings and I really dont know how to react. I'm not nervous or scared. I think that my heart just follow the flow. When I first saw the sign that shows MATRIKULASI PAHANG, I saw along a lineup of cars that's super long and than i knew, that it's going to be one long and hectic day. The cars moved slowly so slow. My sister(the driver) was so sleepy that she even get to sleep for 10 minutes. Yup, that's just show how bad the traffic was that day. The RELA that was on duty that day assigned us to the wrong lane. Then, he told that we're gonna need to go back all the way to the back of the line. That kinda pissed me a bit(lot act) But that's okay. It's Ramadhan kan.. so, be patient. fuhhhh...
Actually, that day, I came together with my friend. It's just that we came with different cars. She's with her family while I'm with mine. When we're stucked in that jam, her car just behind ours. So I decided that we should just walked to register first and then get our things. Our hostel is the block located at the end of the road which is about 300m from our car. We walked that far under the sun in Ramadhan. fuh dugaan..
After the registration thingy, we got our keys and went to check our rooms. Our rooms are not far apart. We got the same floor. Then, our family came with the cars and there went a very tiring process. Bringing our things and luggage to our rooms. Penat gila do!! My family helped a lot that day. Alhamdulillah the process of unpacking my things went on smoothly. I also got to know my new roommates. The girls are nice and cool. Short story to be told, i got along with them just fine and quick. We exchanged numbers that very first day. Cool, right? I mean, i heard stories about roommates that don't even talked untill now. They acted like strangers.
I bid farewell to my family and I swear that it's the first time i saw Mak cried sending her daughters away. I can't hold my tears watching her. I thought to myself, "this is it. this is the time to prove that I can also be independent and live well on my own". Then, me and my friend had to go to the library to take our id picture.
That evening, the orientation week( MINGGU PENGURUSAN PELAJAR BARU) begins. I'll tell you guys more about it if there's the time, in syaa ALLAH.
Wish me luck guys!
I'll be back with more posts soon! Assalamualaikum
